Chris Gillam

Architect. Principal

Chris is the leader of the Kansas City office & manages several development clients across the Midwest region.  His primary work is on the multi-family sector including market rate & affordable housing.  He has been designing in this space for close to 10 years, between two different firms.  Chris joined the JGR team at the beginning of 2017, and founded the Kansas City studio.  Chris became a partner in 2018.  Surrounded by the architecture profession from a young age, his passion for design and problem solving was always present.  Several generations of architects in his family led the way before him.
